Mary Stull Studebaker, wife of J.M. Studebaker and one of the first presidents of Children's Aid Society, lead the agency through many changes early in the organization's history. In honor of the Children's Aid Society's 50th anniversary and as a memorial to Mrs. J.M. Studebaker, a nursery was erected to provide for the special needs of infant orphans.
